Our Story

Sunday Aroma - Creating Statement Home Fragrance

Sunday Aroma was founded upon an aim to produce home fragrance products that were unique and reminiscent of memories. With this in mind, we strive to produce beautiful and bold candle pieces that are eco, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic to both humans and the environment. 

Sunday Aroma was formed by founder Madi at just 15 years of age during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Greater Sydney that occurred in late June of 2021. During this time, Madi's father was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. Whilst she had no experience in candle-making at this time, making candles gave her an outlet, which then formed into a business. Sunday Aroma launched in February of the next year. 

We specialise in soy candles, soy melts, reed diffusers and gifts to suit a variety of scent preferences.

Our vintage pieces are statement pieces. Each piece is one of a kind and has been hand-chosen. Designed as a piece that will elevate and complement your home. Each piece of glassware has been pre-loved and now re-purposed into a candle. Once the candle is finished, the vintage glassware can either be used for everyday use or returned to us to be refilled.
